About

This course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills for basic cardiac life support according to the guidelines provided by the National Resuscitation Council (NRC), Singapore.

Please note that this course is only applicable for participants whose current BCLS certificates have not been expired for more than 3 months (2 years from the Date Issued). 

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the rescuer's role in the chain of survival
  • Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) effectively for adult and infant casualties
  • Relief foreign body airway obstruction in a conscious and unconscious adult and infant casualties

  • Non-Healthcare Providers who are identified to be BCLS providers

Certification

BCLS certificate which is valid for 2 years
