“Living with Heart Disease” is an experience sharing programme that brings students through the journey of people living with heart disease. It is designed for secondary school students and above, to have a greater awareness about coronary heart disease (the 3rd most common cause of death in Singapore) and motivate them to keep their heart healthy.

Students will undergo a 1-hour interactive workshop as they watch interviews of people with heart disease, talking about the impact it had on their lives and how they manage their health conditions. Students will also get to mimic an angioplasty surgery as part of their hands-on activity.

After the workshop, students can enhance their learning experience by embarking on their Value-In-Action projects, to create heart health awareness in the community.
