Go Red For Women in Style

In conjunction with The Singapore Fashion Festival 2008, this year's theme for the SHF Charity Gala Dinner is "The Red Ball". This event aims to bring increased awareness and invoke passion among women about battling heart disease.

The Guest-of-Honour will be the President of Singapore, Mr S R Nathan, who is also the Patron for SHF.

The Red Ball will feature The "Have A Heart" Charity Project and The Red Dress Collection.

The "Have A Heart" Charity Project will be a highlight display at The Red Ball, featuring 6 designer Verner Panton Heart Chairs, specially customised by some of Singapore's renowned creative individuals from the fashion, arts and design scene namely Dick Lee, Loh Lik Peng, Olivier Henry, Eric Khoo, Ashley Isham and Min Lee. Each of these individuals' creative play on the theme of "heart" will be reflected in their personalised designs for the Verner Panton Heart Chairs. Featuring chairs like Heart-Felt, Heart-Core and Dim Sum (little heart), this will definitely be a one-of-a-kind design-meets-style CHAIR-ity auction!
