... SHF-NIE National Seminar The theme for 2008 is Raising Champions for Tomorrow. The Seminar will focus on Parents, providing useful tips and effective strategies to manage the child/adolescent's diet, nutrition, health as well as social, emotional and cognitive growth. Workshops will incorporate pro-family values. Teachers will also be equipped with the necessary communication skills to relate better to parents. A unique feature of this year's seminar is a workshop that caters to the professional development of parents who are in Parents Support Group (PSG). The workshop focuses on how the PSG can assist the schools in supporting, planning, and/or implementing health/holistic-related programmes and initiatives for their school and community.
