The 19th edition of the annual SHF Charity Cup Golf Tournament was held at the Tanah Merah Country Club (Garden Course) on 10 – 13 November 2020. Guest of Honour, Mr Goh Chok Tong, Emeritus Senior Minister and Patron of the Singapore Heart Foundation graced the event together with 47 donors from the corporate and private sectors.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Golf Tournament took the form of a timesheet game, with three flights per day. We observed safe-distancing measures (e.g. Safe Entry check-in, no intermingling among guests, and individually plated dishes) to ensure the safety and wellbeing of golfers, management and staff.

Following SHF’s Golden Jubilee this year, the theme of the event was “Touch of Gold”.

We were privileged to receive the generous support from our Platinum Sponsor – Tote Board, as well as our Gold Sponsor, Mr Teo Tong How Daniel.

The estimated total of $322,976 raised will go towards financial assistance for needy heart patients and their families through difficult times, as well as to fund the Foundation’s various life-saving programmes in Singapore.
