Baked Fruit Haven

Ingredients

  • Hot water, 250ml
  • Peach, peeled, cored and sliced, 1
  • Apple, peeled, cored and sliced, 1
  • Cinnamon powder, to taste
  • Date paste, 2 tbsp
    • Dates, pitted, 2
    • Water, 50ml

Method

Date paste

  1. Blend dates and water until a smooth paste forms.

Baked Fruit Haven

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
  2. Spread peach and apples in a roasting dish.
  3. Dissolve date paste in hot water.
  4. Pour 100ml of date mixture over the fruits in the roasting dish.
  5. Add cinnamon powder.
  6. Roast at 180°C for 20 minutes.
