1st Community First Responder Sharing Session
The first Community First Responder (CFR) Sharing Session was organised on 19 Aug 2023, Sat at our Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) Bishan premise.
The CFRs learnt about SHF’s initiatives in the community and shared candidly about their personal experiences. For example, Mr Patrick Cheong explained how he responded to a cardiac arrest case and successfully revived the patient.
The staff from ZOLL Medical Singapore Pte Ltd showed how their products, such as the ZOLL AEDs, are used at all HDB blocks; this is their contribution to the Save-A-Life Initiative.
We also invited CPT Roger, Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF)’s 1st Division EMS Team Leader, to share their procedures when paramedics take on the responsibility of managing the casualty. The session concluded with a Q&A session and mingling over lunch.
