Heart-Healthy Festive Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • Cooking oil, 1 tbsp
  • Spring onion, chopped, 1 tbsp
  • Coriander, chopped, 1 tbsp
  • Garlic, minced, 1 tbsp
  • Chilli padi, chopped, ½ tsp (optional)
  • Lower-sodium soy sauce, 1 tsp
  • Stock or water, 1 tsp
  • Mushroom powder, ¼ tsp
  • Vinegar, 1 tsp

Method

  1. Add spring onion, coriander, garlic, and chilli padi to a mixing bowl.
  2. Heat cooking oil, 1 tbsp until very hot, then pour over the ingredients.
  3. Stir in lower-sodium soy sauce, vinegar and mushroom powder to taste.
  4. Mix well and serve immediately.
