Singapore Prevention and Cardiac Rehabilitation Symposium 2025

The Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) hosted the 6th Singapore Prevention & Cardiac Rehabilitation Symposium (SPCRS) at Orchard Hotel Singapore on 3 and 4 Oct 2025. The event was graced by Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State for Health and Manpower, on Day 1 of the symposium, and Dr Choo Pei Ling, Member of Parliament for Chua Chu Kang GRC (Tengah), on Day 2 during the public forum.

This year’s symposium embraced the theme Reimagining Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention: Thinking Outside the Box. It brought over 350 healthcare and allied health professionals from Singapore, the Asia-Pacific region and the United States. They shared knowledge, exchanged insights and explored best practices in cardiovascular care, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Staying true to its mission of driving and inspiring innovation in cardiac rehabilitation, SPCRS 2025 charted new directions through a one-and-a-half-day symposium filled with engaging, thought-provoking sessions.

Discussions delved into emerging themes, including Artificial Intelligence in preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation, as well as music therapy and hydrotherapy as complementary tools for heart health.

Public Forum

For the first time, SPCRS also held a public forum. It saw more than 100 enthusiastic members of the public coming to learn more about heart health. Themed Caring for Your Health in the Digital Age, the forum featured esteemed speakers from various institutions who shared practical knowledge and lifestyle strategies for heart health. Some important topics that were discussed include pharmacists’ telehealth, heat management and reducing sodium-heavy foods.
