Activated the CardioChase Game Kiosk at Chongzheng Primary School. The CardioChase Game Kiosk is an exciting and interactive experience that makes learning about heart health both fun and impactful. Led by SHF mascots Hugo and Sandy, players must race in a dynamic virtual world. Along the way, they earn points by making heart-healthy choices, such as eating heart-healthy foods, staying active and managing stress while avoiding obstacles such as plaque build-up and unhealthy dietary choices.

Partnered with Philips Foundation to improve cardiac incident outcomes and improve health inequality. The partnership included the funding of cardiac rehabilitation infrastructure, renaming of the SHF-Philips Foundation Heart Wellness Centre, CPR training and Philips AED equipment, and community outreach programmes.

Launched the Down with Hypertension Programme to raise awareness about the condition and encourage home monitoring of blood pressure.
Introduced of 50 ComfortDelGro taxis and 10 ComfortDelGro MedCare minibuses to the AED-on-Wheels programme.

Awarded the Minister for Home Affairs National Day Award (HT Partners) 2021 for being instrumental to the success of the Save-A-Life Initiative, which includes building the national AED registry, sponsoring AEDs in areas with lower AED coverage and supporting the AED-on-Wheels programme among many others.

Received the Most Inspiring World Heart Day Campaign Award in recognition of our public outreach approach through Hugopoly, an interactive online single-player game that was developed for the National Heart Week/World Heart Day 2021.

Installed 50 AEDs in the HDT Singapore Taxis and trained their drivers in CPR, AED and first aid.

Launched the AEDs in Primary Care Initiative to equip more General Practitioners (GPs) with AEDs and increase their readiness when attending to out-of-hospital cardiac arrest cases.
Launched the CPR self-learning kiosk Version 2 to bring hands-only CPR training opportunities to members of the public.

Launched Restart A Heart Programme, a simplified CPR+AED Training.

Launched Woof-a-thon, a walk-a-thon that promotes the cardiovascular benefits of dog walking.

Opened Heart Wellness Centre @ Fortune Centre. This is SHF’s second cardiac rehabilitation centre.

Partnered with the Singapore Civil Defence Force on the Registry for AED Integration (R-AEDi), currently known as the Save-A-Life initiative, to increase awareness and provide verified AED location information for the public.

Broke the Singapore Book of Records for the Largest Kite flown in Singapore with a 8.6m x 8.7m heart-shaped red kite in celebration of Go Red for Women Picnic Day.

Organised the inaugural National Life Saving Day at Singapore Expo. It broke a Guinness Record for the largest CPR training session involving 7,909 participants.

Singapore National Heart Association is rebranded to Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF), with a more vibrant and complementary logo and a meaningful tagline, “Your Heart We Care”.
Celebrated the first-ever World Heart Day with a series of events such as Heart Taxis, Heart Trees, Heart Expo and Affairs of the Heart.
Organised the Asia Pacific Tobacco Control Symposium.

Implemented the Jump Rope for Heart programme in primary schools nationwide, with the belief that heart health education should start at an early age.

Organised and hosted the 3rd International Heart Health Conference.
Published the Singapore Declaration: Forging the Will for Heart Health in the Next Millennium, which contained recommendations and guidelines for the implementation of heart health programmes. This gave recognition to Singapore as a leader in the promotion of healthy lifestyles.

Funded the semi-automatic defibrillators for ambulance service at Singapore General Hospital. The defibrillators were so useful that all hospital ambulances are now equipped with these units.
Established the Singapore Myocardial Infarction Registry. This registry formed an important landmark in data collection for patients with acute infarction in Singapore.
The National University of Singapore and SNHA financially assisted the National University Life Support Training Centre in providing regular National Mass CPR training courses.
Raised funds with the Rotary Club of Pandan Garden (Singapore) to establish the first CPR training centre in Singapore.
Launched the first public education campaign on hypertension.
Donated the first Coronary Care Ambulance to Singapore General Hospital. This prototype ambulance contained monitoring and telemetric equipment to enable cardiac status to be assessed early.
Pioneered the first anti-smoking campaign in Singapore.
