On 31 Jan, the Singapore Heart Foundation organised its 4th Community First Responders (CFR) Sharing Session at Potong Pasir CC. We hosted more than 70 participants, comprising CFRs on the myResponder app, People’s Association (PA) Grassroots Leaders and CERT members, instructors and community partners.

This session was co-organised with PA and the Singapore Red Cross Academy, with strong support from our partners at the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), Unit for Pre-hospital Emergency Care (UPEC) and HTM Medico. This collaborative effort united partners from the community, public service, healthcare and industry to advance life-saving capabilities together.

In a meaningful display of solidarity, many participants donned red in support of the Go Red for Women campaign, reinforcing the importance of heart health awareness. This ties in with our upcoming women-centric Save-A-Life social media campaign, which aims to raise awareness about CPR being performed by women and on women.

Chairman of Potong Pasir C2E, Mr Ambrose Lee opened the session with a welcome address, setting the stage for:

Participants were also treated to a slew of interactive activities through booths featuring SHF’s CPR self-learning kiosk, the UPEC’s TCPR link, Singapore Red Cross and PA’s community initiatives and HTM Medico’s products.
