National Heart Week/World Heart Day 2025

The Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) commemorated National Heart Week/World Heart Day 2025 at Bishan Junction 8 on 27 Sep 2025 (Sat), celebrating both SHF’s 55th anniversary and Singapore’s SG60 milestone.

Themed “Resilient Hearts, United Future”, the event focused on empowering Singaporeans to take charge of their heart health. Participants learned about cardiovascular disease, its risk factors, preventive measures and practised CPR and AED skills to act confidently in cardiac emergencies. At-risk individuals and cardiac patients were also introduced to SHF’s Heart Wellness Programme – a community-based rehabilitation programme.

Graced by Ms Sim Ann, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs, the event welcomed over 1,400 participants, reflecting strong public engagement in heart health awareness.
