Protein, found in animal sources or soybean, contains amino acids that is required for our body functions like tissue building and growth, and muscle maintenance. As soybean is lower in saturated fat and glycaemic index, it is a healthier protein option and can also aid in weight management.
For better health, choose soy milk with reduced sugar, lower in sugar or no added sugar and those fortified with nutrients (for example, calcium and Vitamin D).
To kickstart a healthier Christmas, create your own soy eggnog and share them with your friends and family.
